The Kick-off for the 2nd J. Storm Cup Classic was Sunday February 21st 2010!
The Defending Champions - Tree Huggers
The Tree Huggers got off to a great start winning both of their opening games.
Tree Huggers opened with a very commanding 1st Game win (4-0) over Blue Streak. Goals seem to fall like leaves on a “Tree” with one from the Team Captain #1 James Lyons. 2 Goals from the 2009 Player of the Year and Last Year’s winner of the Golden Boot #11 Bradley Lynn. The Teams 1st Give-N-Go was scored by #11 Bradley Lynn to Teammate and Best Friend #10 Christopher Scroggins. The Teams 2nd game had only one goal from #13 Brennen Lynn which put the stamp on the new season with a win (1-0) over RTR. Thus continuing the Teams Unbeaten record (15-0-2). The Squad appears to be in great form with 4 of its members finding the back of the net on opening day. But, the Tournament was not to be over shadowed by the Tree Huggers. Forlorn Hope Captain #1 Brandon Neal scored 3 goals in his 2010 tournament opening. If Brandon continues to find the back of the net like in his 1st two games of the season we could see a New Champion for 2010. As Fans, we couldn’t have asked for a better start to this year’s Tournament.

J. Storm Fútbol Academy
J. Storm Fútbol Academy offers Technical Training geared to the individual. We strive to improve each player’s ability with the ball at their feet and in the air, along with speed and quickness with and without the ball. If your child has the desire to improve and a good work ethic, then J. Storm Fútbol Academy can take you to the next level. We believe in setting high standards. We believe in setting achievable goals. We believe that we can help your child improve their technical proficiency. We can tailor the program to suit any level of player, whether you’re just starting or playing at the highest level, we have something to offer everyone.
To Be a part of the JSFA Team
· All players interested are strongly encouraged to pre-register online @ http://www.surfsoccerandsun.com/jstorm.html or by emailing the JSFA Academy Director - Coach Terry Dixon tdixon@advancemtg.net to help expedite the player check-in process.
· All other players that would like to “play up” an age bracket must first request permission by emailing the Director of Coaching – Coach Mark Lynn mlynn49@yahoo.com
· Players will be asked to provide 2 copies of Birth Certificate, a Notarized Copy of the Player Medical Release Form and Player Application plus the $200.00 JSFA Life Time Membership Fee
· Confirming Player Registration all Paper work and fees Must be received by the players Coaches 2 weeks before the 1st kick-off of League/Tournament (summer, spring, fall and winter) seasons.
· Updates and Team Announcements will be sent via email.
· Please make sure you include a valid email address when registering.
· Report to the “Player Check In” via the Center Circle upon arrival to every Practice and/or Game.
· Parents are welcome to observe Team Practices from the parking areas, but we ask that you leave the fields to only the players and the coaches.
Expenses are based on per player participation in friendly and tournament games.
Zero out of pocket cost is promoted through our JSFA Player Sponsorship Program.
Player fees include:
· JSFA Life Time Membership
· $95.00 JSFA uniform kit (2 Jerseys, 2 Shorts & 2 Pair of Socks)
· $30.00 JSFA Training/Practice kit (Jersey, Shorts & Socks)
· FYSA Fee $20.00
· $40.00 Field Maintenance
· $15.00 (Utilities Fee)
Total $200.00 maximum
